Fires are specifically designed to sit within a fireplace chamber,
and as such, customers should ensure that the fires which they
order will fit within their existing fireplace aperture. Most
models are designed specifically for shallow depth fire chambers
so as to produce an absolute minimum projection into the room.
Alternatively, there are models to fit in practically every fire

"effects-only" units, (ie. without heater elements),

adequate room heating, miss having the warmth and glow of a realistic
fire effect.
